Medicines are only as dependable as the raw chemicals behind them, and more of those are being made in India. RPG Life Sciences is buying the active pharmaceutical ingredient business of Raghava Life Sciences for up to ₹135 crore. It brings a WHO-GMP and EU-GMP approved plant near Hyderabad, 22 products already sold across diabetes, heart and nervous-system treatments, and a research unit. The deal still needs regulatory clearance.
