Untreated sewage in a town means disease and fouled water. EMS has emerged as the lowest bidder for a ₹218.65 crore project to build sewer networks and sewage treatment plants across six urban local bodies in the Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Churu districts of Rajasthan, with ten years of upkeep after an 18-month build. Lowest bidder is not yet a signed contract — the formal award still has to come.
