Farmers who rely on costly diesel or an unreliable grid to water their fields will get clean solar power instead. Captain Polyplast has won a ₹47 crore order from Maharashtra's MSEDCL to install 2,000 off-grid solar water pumps under the PM-KUSUM scheme. Solar pumps cut irrigation costs, run without fuel and keep working during outages - helping farm incomes and saving diesel. The order takes the company's solar EPC book to about ₹82 crore.
