Pilgrims at Vellingiri Hills were leaving behind large amounts of hard-to-recycle plastic waste. Recompose Recycling collaborated with the Tamil Nadu Forest Department to collect and convert this multi-layered plastic into roofing sheets, blocks, and furniture for forest offices and bus shelters. The initiative keeps forests clean while creating free, durable public infrastructure from recycled materials.
