Industrial effluent that is treated properly does not end up in someone's groundwater. Va Tech Wabag has won an order from Reliance Industries to design and build an effluent treatment plant at the green energy complex in Jamnagar, using chemical and biological treatment plus low-temperature sludge drying. Reliance puts the value in the ₹100 to ₹250 crore band and allows 13 months to finish.
