In rural India, taboos and lack of supplies force girls to miss school during periods. Project Ecosanitation, led by student Sristi Bose, solves this through "body literacy" workshops and the development of affordable, biodegradable hemp-based pads. This helps 355+ girls stay in school with dignity, reduces plastic landfill waste, and creates jobs for rural women through local manufacturing units.
