West Bengal farmers faced high costs and low yields from expensive Punjab seeds. To solve this, Hooghly farmer Subrata Karmakar used ARC technology and a specialized greenhouse to grow high-quality, disease-free seeds locally. The benefit is huge: 150+ farms now buy seeds for just ₹1,200–₹1,800. These seeds produce up to 26 tubers—quadruple the usual yield—boosting local income and helping the state become self-sufficient.
