Storing clean power for when it's needed most just got a boost. Pace Digitek's subsidiary Lineage Power has won a Rs 488 crore order from NTPC GE Power Services to supply battery energy storage systems, with a 12-year maintenance deal. Grid batteries soak up surplus solar and wind and release it after dark, meaning steadier supply, fewer blackouts, and more renewable energy that doesn't go to waste.
