More defence work and know-how staying in India: NIBE has partnered France's Naval Group to build warships, underwater drones, mine-hunters and weapon systems at home. The tie-up transfers advanced naval technology under the Atmanirbhar Bharat self-reliance drive, meaning skilled jobs and less spending on imported military hardware. It is an MoU for now, so firm orders and timelines are still to follow.
