Gurugram’s Sanath Road was once a broken, flooded, and unsafe street that officials wanted to widen by cutting 400 trees. To fix this, the Raahgiri Foundation and local groups redesigned the road without cutting a single tree. They fixed the drainage, added bike lanes, and used recycled waste to rebuild it. This helped the community by creating a safe, green space with wide paths and better lighting, making it easy for everyone—including children and wheelchair users—to enjoy the street.
