More made-in-India engine parts and new factory work: Federal-Mogul Goetze will invest ₹335 crore to expand capacity at its plants in Punjab, Karnataka and Rajasthan, adding pistons, piston rings and, on a new line, engine valves. With its factories already running flat out, the extra output supplies India's carmakers with locally made components instead of imports. The 18-month expansion is funded from the company's own cash, and backs future revenue growth for investors.
