Traditional plastic bags made from oil pollute our oceans and bodies for centuries. To fix this, South Dakota State University scientists turned woody grapevine waste into a natural material called cellulose. This "green" plastic is actually stronger than standard grocery bags and is completely see-through. Most importantly, it safely disappears into the soil in just 17 days without leaving harmful chemicals or microplastics behind. This process turns farm trash into a clean, tough, and eco-friendly packaging solution for a healthier planet.
