The US is making it easier to build factories that process important minerals used in technology and defense. The problem is that it is hard to get enough of these materials from within the country. To solve this, the US Army is letting companies build these plants on military bases, which is faster than finding new land elsewhere. This helps the country be more secure by making more of the essential materials we need for cars, electronics, and defense.
