More auto parts made in India means more local jobs and less reliance on imports. Uno Minda has approved about ₹1,415 crore of capital spending across four projects, including a new aluminium-casting plant at Hosur (capacity rising from 13,000 to 30,000 tonnes a year) and expanded two-wheeler alloy-wheel output in Haryana. The build-out adds skilled manufacturing jobs and strengthens India's home-grown auto-component base.
