After his father suffered a stroke, a student named Balu wanted to help him live more independently. Many people with paralysis struggle because they need help for simple daily tasks. To help, Balu invented a small device that fits in the mouth like a dental aligner. It uses tongue movements to control phones and wheelchairs wirelessly. This invention makes it much easier for people to use technology on their own without needing constant help from others.
