Farmers who rely on costly diesel or an erratic grid for irrigation stand to get pumps that run on free daytime sunlight. Shakti Pumps has been empanelled by Maharashtra's power utility MSEDCL to supply 4,755 off-grid solar water pumps (3-7.5 HP) under the state's Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump scheme, an order worth ₹112 crore. The result: cleaner irrigation, lower bills for farmers and steadier rural incomes.
