India faces a big problem: we make 26,000 tonnes of plastic every day, and much of it ends up polluting our water and soil. The solution is a new "Rethink" law. It forces companies to make new bottles and bags using 40% to 60% old, recycled plastic. They must also put QR codes on packaging so we can track it. The benefit to people is a much cleaner neighborhood. By turning trash into a resource, we keep plastic out of our oceans and landfills, making the air and water safer for our families.
