More solar made in India means cleaner power and less reliance on imported panels. Premier Energies won ₹4,001 crore of new orders in July–September for 2,308 MW of solar cells and modules, and has nearly doubled module capacity to 11.1 GW, with cell capacity now 10.6 GW after a new Andhra Pradesh plant. Bigger local capacity means more jobs and steadier supply; turning orders into revenue still depends on timely delivery.
