142 tribal families have moved from the forest to a new, better life. Previously, living in the protected Kawal Tiger Reserve made it difficult to access schools and grow crops. Now, they have their own permanent homes and legal ownership of farmland. This change helps the families gain financial independence and better schooling for their children, while the forest has the space it needs to safely grow back and support wildlife.
