Nairobi is growing so quickly that it is becoming crowded and polluted. To help, a new $5.2 million project is fixing the environment by planting trees, cleaning up trash, and using eco-friendly building methods. This is great for the people living there because it makes the air and water cleaner for 85,000 residents. It also creates new "green" jobs while making neighborhoods cooler and safer from storms, making the city a much healthier place for everyone to live.
