Stronger transmission lines mean fewer power cuts in India's North East. Laser Power & Infra has won a ₹72.76 crore order from Power Grid Corporation to supply high-capacity HTLS conductors and upgrade two 132 kV lines under a north-eastern expansion scheme. The 12-month project lets the existing network carry more electricity without new land, improving supply for homes and businesses.
