More home-produced energy and skilled jobs kept in India: L&T has won a 'large' order from ONGC, worth Rs 2,500-5,000 crore in the company's own terms, to design, build and install three well-head platforms, a riser platform and subsea pipelines off India's west coast. The work lifts output from existing offshore fields, cutting reliance on imported energy, with most engineering done in India.
