The Indian Navy helped a large oil ship, the Omega Trader , travel safely through a dangerous area called the Strait of Hormuz. Because of recent attacks on ships, this route has become very risky. By working together, the Indian government and Navy made sure the ship stayed safe. This kept all 23 crew members—including 15 Indians—out of harm's way as they continued their journey to Sikka, Gujarat.
