IIM Calcutta is now making it easier for students to start their own businesses. Often, students are afraid to become entrepreneurs because they worry that if their business fails, they will miss out on getting a good job later. To solve this, the institute now lets students focus on their startups for two years after graduation while keeping their chance to participate in campus job placements. This helps students take risks and chase their big ideas without the fear of losing their career safety net.
