Cancer is a growing challenge in India, but advanced treatment is often too expensive for many families. Major hospitals like Tata Memorial are always overcrowded, leading to long waiting lists for life-saving radiation therapy.ICICI Bank is donating ₹625 crore to build a massive 11-story cancer center in Navi Mumbai. This building will be filled with the world’s best medical machines (called LINACs) that can target cancer cells with extreme precision. This center will provide world-class care to 25,000 new patients every year at very low, subsidized costs. It will double the hospital's capacity, meaning patients won't have to wait months for the treatment they need to survive.
