Cleaner, quieter mobile networks: HEG's battery arm Replus Engitech has won a ₹217.56 crore order from Indus Towers to supply lithium-ion battery banks for telecom towers. Batteries let towers store power and lean less on diesel generators — meaning less pollution and noise near homes, and steadier phone and internet signal. It also builds India's own energy-storage manufacturing.
