Each winter, smoke from burning crop waste creates dangerous air pollution across North India. To stop this, a company called Takachar created a portable machine that fits on a tractor and turns leftover stubble into biochar, a charcoal-like material. Instead of causing smog, farmers now turn waste into "black gold" that makes their soil healthier or can be sold for extra money. This innovation has cut stubble burning in Punjab by 90%, showing that better tools can help clean the air.
