From Asthma to Action: Brothers Recycle 1M Kg Across 14 Cities
In Delhi, brothers Vihaan and Nav saw how landfill fires and waste burning caused toxic air pollution, worsening Vihaan’s asthma. To fight this, they founded OneStepGreener, a youth-led initiative for door-to-door dry waste collection. By teaching families to segregate at the source, they ensure waste is recycled instead of dumped. They have recycled 1 million kg of waste across 14 cities and planted 73,000 trees, improving air quality and creating jobs for women.
