Patna’s Ganga ghats were buried in plastic waste, harming the environment and local businesses. Engineer Shubham Kumar led a volunteer movement to clean the banks, distribute bins, and build changing rooms for safety. They removed 1.43 lakh kg of plastic, creating a 98% drop in waste. This restored the river's dignity and now supports the livelihoods of over 16,000 people in the area.
