Dinosaur Teeth Reveal Earth's Ancient Climate: New CO₂ Clues from Fossils
The team led by chief geochemist Dingsu Feng from the University of Göttingen, Germany, has analyzed the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere of that time by studying the fossil remains of dinosaur teeth. This has created the possibility of estimating the CO2 levels before, during, and after the extinction of the dinosaurs. This experiment has provided a new dimension to the study of historical climate dynamics.
