Plastic flows through rivers into our oceans, killing sea life and polluting the water people use for food and health. The Ocean Cleanup is putting giant "Interceptors" (solar-powered trash catchers) in the 30 most polluted cities, including Mumbai, to stop plastic before it escapes. This will cut river plastic pollution by one-third by 2030, giving families cleaner beaches, healthier fish to eat, and a safer environment to live in.
