In many remote or disaster-hit places, there is no phone signal at all. To solve this, BSNL is working to launch satellite phones that work everywhere, even without regular towers. It just needs final government approval. This will be a lifesaver, allowing people in isolated areas and security forces to stay connected and call for help during emergencies, no matter where they are.
