For decades, remote Madhepura, Bihar, struggled with limited healthcare, poor schooling, and a lack of skills beyond survival farming. The solution arrived through the Madhepura Electric Locomotive Private Limited (MELPL) rail project. Beyond building India's most powerful engines, it launched STEAM labs for students, "Care on Wheels" mobile clinics, and women's health programs. The benefit is a transformed community where 27,000 people now have modern education and life-saving care.
