India is building more of its own weapons instead of importing them, keeping money and skilled jobs at home. The Defence Ministry has signed a ₹810.79 crore contract with Bharat Dynamics for 160 Satellite Smart Anti-Airfield Weapons — DRDO-designed precision bombs — for the Indian Air Force. Made in India, the order deepens self-reliance in defence and supports local manufacturing and its supplier base.
