A specialised product India often imports can now be made more at home. Aeroflex Industries is investing about ₹202 crore to expand capacity, lifting its stainless-steel hose and braiding output to 20 million metres a year. That supports factory jobs and exports that earn the country foreign exchange, as most of its output is sold abroad. Export demand can swing, so future gains depend on those markets staying strong.
